The research group on Solid State Electrochemistry at the School of Chemistry, Raymond and Beverly Sackler Faculty of Exact Sciences in Tel Aviv University is a dynamic and curious scientific team pursuing challenges and merit.

The overarching goal of our research is the development of fundamental understanding of the mechanisms controlling ion transport in solid electrolytes and electrodes, to perform new syntheses and to develop novel materials for advanced energy-storage and conversion technologies.

We have laboratories equipped for wet chemistry and electrochemistry. In addition to our own facilities, we have access to the university facilities of Wofson Materials Research Center, the Nano Center, and the Engineering Faculty: SEM, TEM, TOFSIMS, XPS etc.

The results of our research include about 150 articles and chapters in peer- reviewed high-impact journals, 19 patents, collaborative research projects related to electrochemistry and energy, over 7700 independent citations, national and international awards. Our working atmosphere is creative, open-minded and communicative. We invite highly motivated graduate students and post-docs, willing to conduct inspiring and stimulating research, to join the group and be part of the team.
